Dozens of people died when a passenger bus fell into a ravine in the South American country of Peru.
According to foreign media, the bus was carrying passengers from the capital city of Lima to the southern city of Ayacucho when it fell into the ravine from a height of 650 feet due to a loss of balance on the way.
The administration says that the incident took place at 5 am local time and a search and rescue operation was started as soon as the incident was reported.
According to the administration, 29 people died in the accident and 13 people were injured who were immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment while the reasons for the bus falling into the ravine are being ascertained.
