United Nations Secretary General meeting with the Prime Minister

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who is on a visit to Pakistan, met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Speaking at a joint press conference after the meeting, the Prime Minister said that sufficient funds will be required for the rehabilitation operation of the flood victims, after the relief and rescue operation, there will be a rehabilitation operation.

The Secretary General of the United Nations said that Pakistan needs a lot of financial assistance, the international community should actively help Pakistan, and the United Nations will certainly help in this difficult time.

Earlier, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also met Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who informed him about the disaster caused by floods in the country.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that 33.3 million people were affected by the floods, and the spread of epidemic diseases in the affected areas is a big challenge.

Antonio Guterres said that Pakistan is being affected by the effects of climate change, people are dying due to famine and floods, and it is very sad to see the people of Pakistan in trouble.
