London: British Prime Minister Liz Truss announced his resignation from his post.
According to the British media, Liz Truss informed King Charles of his resignation in a meeting.
Liz Truss said that she had assumed the office of Prime Minister with the commitment to improve the economy, but she has not been able to fulfill the mandate.
He said that he will continue to perform the duties till the election of the new prime minister.
It should be noted that Liz Truss held the position of Prime Minister for the shortest period, she was only 45 days into the position of Prime Minister.
