India officially has replaced China as the world's most populous nation

China has been surpassed by India as the world's most populated nation.

The United Nations just released new data that showed this.

According to a Bloomberg report, the UN World Population Fund has published population projections through the middle of 2023.

According to these statistics, India's population has reportedly hit 1.428 billion.

India currently has 2.9 million more people than China, which has a population of 1.425 billion.

India has now surpassed China as the world's most populated nation for the first time.

The data indicates that China's population started to decline last year, while India's population is growing, however, it is unclear exactly when India's population surpassed China's.

India has a population that is 50% younger than 30.

It should be mentioned that the population of China, at 1.412 billion, has declined for the first time since 1961, according to data released by the country's statistics department on January 17, 2023.

India intended to release census results in 2021, but so far this has not happened because the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay in the census procedure.
