Pakistan government decided to ban Tehreek-e-Insaf

The government of Pakistan has approached the Supreme Court to appeal against the Supreme Court's decision regarding reserved seats for PTI, to ban Tehreek-e-Insaaf and to seek Article VI proceedings against Imran Khan, Arif Alvi and Qasim Suri. 

On Monday, Federal Information and Broadcasting minister Atta Tarar, while holding a press conference in Islamabad, said that if the country has to develop, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the country cannot go together.

Atta Tarar said that Pakistan is going to ban Tehreek-e-Insaaf, the government demands that PTI be banned, the federal government will file a reference to ban PTI in the Supreme Court.

He said that the government is trying for political and economic stability in the country while efforts are being made to create agitation in the country.

They said that they (PTI) will do anything, conspire against the country, take foreign funding, lobby abroad, raise firms, pass resolutions against Pakistan, create a cipher drama, May 9 attacks. Do, try to default the country, there is no one to ask you, such impression is being given in the country.

Atta Tarar said that a certain mentality is being nurtured, our top leadership and women were put in jails. Our patience and tolerance was considered weakness, I will give a full answer to it, enough is enough, no more, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the country cannot go together.

Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar said that the parties involved in the government of Pakistan say that they will file a review appeal against the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the reserved seats of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

He said that there is evidence on the basis of which PTI can be banned, including the May 9 attack, the cipher case and the resolution in America. Therefore, the government has decided to ban Tehreek-e-Insaaf after looking at all the evidence.

He alleged that Tehreek-e-Insaf brought the Taliban to Pakistan's territories and conspired against the country.

Federal Minister of Information Atta Tarar said that "Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf received foreign funding, including Indian and Israeli funding." He accused the leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf of supporting anti-national forces.

He said that legal action will be taken against all those involved in these cases and strict measures will be taken including confiscation of passports.

He added while holding a press conference that the government will also file a review appeal against the decision of the Supreme Court.
