Flood situation due to heavy rains in northern areas of China

Heavy rains have caused flooding in the northern regions of China.

In Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, the roads turned into ponds due to torrential rain, and vehicles were swept away by the rapid water flow in the streets. At the same time, 2 people died in different accidents due to the rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, 30 to 40 mm of rain fell in an hour in Dalian. Because of further rains, the authorities have instructed the citizens to take precautionary measures.
