On the other hand, the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah also fired more than 300 rockets at Israel while retaliating.
Hezbollah has claimed to have hit several military targets, while the Iraqi resistance organization also attacked the Golan Heights.
The US and China have asked their citizens to leave Lebanon, while the airlines of many countries have stopped flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut.
The Israeli army says it wants a short operation against Hezbollah, but it may take longer.
